Last year, the AGSH team advised you on some tactful do’s and dont’s of that long anticipated Super Bowl party.
Fast forward a year later and we let you know what we love the most about the biggest game in sports….

The thing that I look forward to the most every year at the Super Bowl is normally the food. One of my good friends has been hosting the same Super Bowl party for the last 12 years and the food is always amazing!
It obviously helps when it’s a good game, there is nothing worse than a Super Bowl blowout, unless your team is on the receiving end of course.
Last but certainly not least, no women are at the party so you can watch the game in peace without lots of ridiculous questions.

You know what my favorite part of the Super Bowl is? When the teams get introduced. It gets me all hyped up.
The intro that sticks most in my mind is when Will Smith introduced the Eagles. I loved it. But it always makes me want to actually be at the game, so I can be with the other fans screaming my head off while the team gets introduced.
I know…kinda odd, but I love that part so much!

My favorite part of Super Bowl week is the social atmosphere of the party. Good food, good friends and the last meaningful football game for a long, long, long time. And if it’s a blowout, circa 2014, you can always get four people together for a good ol’ game of spades. And of course… I get to share my sob story of how the 49ers should’ve won that Super Bowl versus the Ravens.
For some strange reason, I’m really looking forward to this tortoise versus the hare race the media is pumping up.

My favorite part of the Super Bowl is the pre-game festivities that launch the game itself. As a young man, I remember the first of the four Super Bowls that the Buffalo Bills played in against the Giants. The late Whitney Houston sang the Star-Spangled Banner in a version that has been unmatched since then. Of course Whitney Houston in her prime was unmatched and that Super Bowl came down to a missed field goal at the end of game leaving the Giants as champs. I’m looking forward to the pre-game festivities to help launch the game and I’m praying that it will be close game in the end.
What I will remember the most about this year’s Super Bowl once it is over is the exhausting amount of time paid to “Inflate-gate” and whether or not New England will suffer as a result. Too bad the game itself could not over come controversy and provide the simple enjoyment of just watching the super bowl for all the right reasons instead of all the wrong reasons.
